I just watched the TNA debut for Aron Rex aka Damien Sandow. I had to laugh my ass off at the announcers freaking out that they got him and commenting that WWE should never have let him go. It's like a dog that can't believe a whole burger got dropped on the ground. Great for Aron, they are right, but it makes TNA sound REALLY sad and pathetic.
Terrible name and terrible spelling though.

This is the problem with TNA as a whole. Aron Rex will probably win the tournament to crown a new GRAND CHAMPION. They screw over the homegrown talent (Which is why Styles, Roode, Joe, Young, Aries and more have left them for WWE) and reward guys that WWE released. That has nothing to do with the talent they possess, it simply is trying to capitalize on the recognition they garner. If you look at ROH, or most other Indies, the ex-WWE guys don't instantly get shot to the top unless they have a history with the Indy.

You're 100% right. TNA has no idea how to grow as their own identity. Hopefully he'll win some belts, form a new identity, and come back to WWE with some respect.

I thought Aron Rex was interesting over at TNA. I wonder if it will lead anywhere honestly. I hope so for the sake of all the workers that need jobs.

The "Rex" surname seems to have dropped rather quickly though. He changed it to "Stevens" on Twitter. I haven't watched TNA since they were taped here in Nashville so I'm not sure what he's using on TV.
